Christmas was an utter success!

I got spoiled (as per usual), and stopped in to see my Dad...

My parents split when I was just 4, and I don't really see him all that often. I haven't seen him in seven months until yesterday (Christmas). I made him a card, on on the way to my step-dad's parents house, my Mom swung me by to see my dad. He lives with my Aunt Rose because her husband (Uncle Bob) was killed in a work-related train accident just before I was born.

My Aunt Rose called me a nosy bitch, whore and slut back in June because of a favor I did for a friend. Before you go, "Oh, what did you do??", all I did was call up my cousin Curtis (Rose's son), and ask if my bestfriend (and his) Kris was there.

See, Kris is 20 (Curtis too), and has been one of my best friends since I was 3. Him and his girlfriend, Theresa (also my friend), had a baby on December 19, but in June, she was still pregnant. Kris had been spending some time with Curtis, and hadn't let Theresa know where he was. He had been away from home for 3 days. Curtis doesn't like Theresa, so he told Kris not to give her his number.

She got ahold of me one Facebook, and asked my to call Curt and see if Kris was there, and if he was, to give her a quick call when he got a moment. She was worried sick, and hadn't slept in 2 days.

I thought "Sure, not a problem", and gave Curt a call.

Kris was there, and little to my knowledge, my Aunt Rose was on the extension. When I passed on the message, Rose exploded. "You're a nosy bitch, and all you want is to break up Kris and Theresa, and if you weren't such a whore, you'd have your own boyfriend!" (I had just broke up with Zack at this time). I got mad and told her that she was the nosy bitch, and bickered with them till they guilt tripped me. In june, I didn't get to see my Dad because it was exam time and I was busy studying and getting ready for summer cadet camp and everything.

My dad had broken his collar bone in May, and I hadn't seen him since then, and he was missing me greatly. Rose and Curtis tried guilting me by saying "You never come see your dad, and all he does is talk about you, and how he misses you.." and the whole dinner and show. I ripped off at them how I was trying to pass my classes and get ready for camp, and that they were assholes because I missed my dad soo much, and that they had no idea what it was like to have a dad at my age, but not be able to live with him, because a person I didn't even know (a judge) had decided I couldn't when I was 4.

It was hard to walk into there yesterday, because abour three weeks back, Curtis's ex, and my friend, Jade, made a comment on Facebook about how Rose was psychotic and Curtis was a creeper. I replied with how I was tired of everyone fighting and acting like babies, and my Aunt Jessica, who is 8 months older than me, saw it and thought I was saying they were psychotic and creepy. She went to my Aunt Tammy, who called my mother at work.

She confronted me, and I showed it to her, and worked it all out.

When I got there yesterday, I was welcomed by Tammy, Jessica, Gramma Carol, Auntie (Rose's BF). Curtis went and got Dad and Grampa, and they welcomed me as well. Rose was about to say something, adn Tammy glared at her and told her to drop it before she dropped her on her ass. I said Happy Christmas and walked out.

We then went to my older sister's and brother-in-laws to drop off my niece's gift, and then headed to Nana's. Supper was great, and it was quiet as we were the only family there (fighting going on on that side, but that's a different entry all together!). We came home, watched a movie, played with our new stuff, and head to bed.

All in all, Christmas was happy and nice, and I think things will get to be better in the New Year!!
